the human heart is often a weak thing. you empathise you sympathise and whatnots. have you ever had those experiences where you had a falling out/down(kidding) with a friend or family member. and just when you thought "hey there are other alternatives to solve this stupid damn thing. your nemesis at that moment had to cry. and yes in front of people =.= so everyone will go. "OMG! xxx cry! why cry. who make you cry that person is wrong" irks you to the core doesn't it. and the best thing yet. they point towards you. hallelujah. you weren't that lucky to strike lottery but you were this lucky to get blamed.

it's a very very very underhand psychology strategy to get what they want. i'm not saying it's wrong to cry. it's okay if you buckled under stress and you jsut had to let it all out. it's fine. but to the extent of this? it's RIDICULOUS with an exclamation mark. so.. moral of the story is. the victor will be the ones that cry. because of all the sympathy votes that will go tot he specific person for spilling salty water.

and some people contradict themselves so much they're even blacker than the pots or kettles. just recently i had this friend of mine whom yes we had a falling out. things were bad and yes. nobody wanted to shoulder the blame. i tried my best to be very fair about this matter. i come to the conclusion where okay you made this decision i'd wash my hands off everything. and she was okay about it. then she had to accuse me of showing attitude and calling up stupid pple and telling them all about how i gave attitude and i got a dressing down just from her side of the story. applause to her please. and make it loud too. but hey i retort back with "if you did nothing wrong. then why are you so bothered by my black face or whatever. you think you didn't do anything wrong so why must you get unhappy all oevr it" and oh yay she replied with "i'm so sorry and i hope things will be alright. like wow. and the next moment i see her in school. i smiled. and she looked away. so now who's giving who attitude. it's oaky if you want to play the stranger game. but if you are also giving the same shit to me why must i get the blame and you don't?

The Revealing Eye in Digital Photography

1. Decisive Moments

My interpretation of this theme is in the most literal sense, where i just walked around with a camera, waited for a good unposed shot, while at the same time, thinking about the composition.

a. Friend
For this picture, i used the rule of thirds and depth of field to isolate the subject and to bring it into focus to the viewer.

b. Lizard
For this picture, i used the rule of thirds and also, diagonal lines to imply movement and the dynamic energy of the lizard as it was running towards that direction.

c. Moth
i took this picture purely by luck. i was just staring at the window when i spotted the moth on it. i barely had time to set my camera and took this 1 precious shot before it flew away. For this picture, i used the depth of field to isolate the moth as the sole focus of the picture.

d. Couple
for this picture, i used the depth of field together with the foreground and background relationship to create a link with the snooker balls. i feel that it gives off a sense that they are a couple.

2. Lighting

for this lighting exercise, i wanted to use a subject matter that would reflect light, so as the make it look more interesting. Therefore, i chose a glass bottle.

a. Mighty
For this picture, i wanted to give the glass bottle a high and mighty feel. therefore i took a low angle shot, and used high front lighting( sunlight). using that lighting casts a shadow down and combined with the angle, it makes it look big and strong.

b. Side lighting
for this picture, i wanted to make full use of the subject's ability to reflect light. therefore, i used side lighting. Side lighting also emphasizes the subject's texture and dimensions.
